Marijuana pros for treating BPD

Image
Smoking soothes my soul💨💨💨🫶🏽 Potential benefits of using marijuana- plant ☘️ medicine for mental health👇🏽 Mainly temporary symptom relief; . Emotional regulation  . "Slow down" in racing thoughts and overwhelming emotions . Ease of anxiety, stress and calming effect . Improved sleep . Deacreased impulsivity and anger . Alternative to traditional and or prescription medications/ natural option  These are not proven medical facts as there simply isn't enough substantial research and information on treating BPD with marijuana.. BUT, many people with BPD have claimed these pros. I personally feel marijuana plays a huge role in managing ALL of my mental health, along with multiple physical health conditions and symptoms. Has marijuana helped you manage your mental health? I'd love some feedback and personal experiences! Drop in on my Instagram or Facebook post and leave a comment! (Both on my link in bio) link in bio  Catch y'all soon!  XOXO Jessie Marie

The best sticky note app for positive affirmations and more!

Image
Tonight I just want to quickly share one of my new favorite apps from the Samsung store!  It's called Sticky Notes You can get it below  Download Sticky Notes Here's a quick peak into the screenshots of the app and basic features. And, the best part is that you can add it as a home screen widget (see my phone for my personal sticky note)  Make important checklists, to do lists and more! A basic and simple self-care checklist or mental health checklist would be a perfect example! Here's one. Try making a list similar as a widget on your home screen! Follow your list daily! - morning meditation (5-10 min) - journaling - walk/fresh air - drink enough  - short social media break - self-care ritual (tea, skincare, bath, etc) - early bedtime and enough quality sleep. I use Sticky Notes for keeping a positive affirmations more on my phone's screen that I can look at daily. It's perfect and I can add and change it to any note I desire! Let me know what you think! I really j...

9 Signs of Quiet BPD

Image
Self criticism + shame This one's tough. It's hard not to criticize ones self or feel shameful, especially when we feel we are always the "cause" or "reason. Instead, we need to try to give ourselves a break. Just breathe. We're human, not perfect.  People pleasing  This one I can't really associate with when it comes to my BPD. Personally I don't try to people please. I actually do the opposite and become the main aggressor in most situations.  Repressed anger You feel that bubbling up from the inside don't you? Repressed anger can instantly start creeping back to you. Just because time has past doesn't mean we have handle the situation or acknowledged our feelings and what to do to change them. Fear of abandonment  Are you afraid to lose your "FP"(FAVORITE PERSON)? your partner, best friend, closest sibling or support person in your life? We rely way too much on others staying and being consistent. Sometimes it's just too much ...

Stillborn, Still Loved TRIGGER WARNING! This blog post may contain sensitive content that may trigger ones mental health and or recovery. If triggered please immediately exit! What is defined as a stillborn baby? A stillborn baby is a fetus that dies after 20 weeks of pregnancy and before or during birth.  I gave birth to my daughter, Gianna Faith on October 22nd 2011. It was a stillbirth. I can remember it like it was yesterday. My pregnancy was high risk from my first sonogram. I had been diagnosed with placenta previa; a condition at which the placenta is at risk for detaching or abruption.  This is me holding my stillborn daughter in my arms; one of the few photos I have of her and only ones of her and I together. Gianna Faith October 22nd 2011 Gianna was born due to a placental abruption at 24 1/2 weeks. I was one week shy of being able to get steroids to help develop her lungs. Unfortunately we only made it four days before I had to deliver. That day was the most traumatic day of...
